Research Session: Integration & Application Lab

This session offers participants the opportunity to connect insights from the Master Class to their own work and practice. Through interactive activities and guided reflection, the lab emphasizes applying new knowledge, integrating diverse perspectives, and identifying concrete steps for continued growth beyond the event. This session will be facilitated by your Moderator.
Jana Hollá is a facilitator, consultant and educator working at the intersection of Cross-cultural Competence and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging (DEIB). With over 17 years of global experience spanning tech, infrastructure, transport, and relocation services —as well as cultural, educational, and public institutions including EU bodies— in the Middle East, Europe and the U.S.,Jana is adept at fostering effective and meaningful working relations across cultures, identities, perceived realities and lived experiences. Her approach emphasizes understanding the nature of difference, complexity, and sense-making to transform individuals, teams, and organizations. Holding a PhD from Charles University in Prague, she brings both academic rigor and practical insight to her work. Originally from Slovakia, she has made Cairo, Egypt her home since 2004. Beyond her professional life, Jana finds joy in exploring new places and their peoples by immersing herself in local histories and cultures through seemingly aimless wandering.
